Lot 149-DQH Solonos Lil Chex

Take a look at the bone and size on this big buckskin Roan filly.  We bought this nice mare that came out to the Leptich Family Program and we are happy with the great foundation breeding she brings to our program.  This is the second year crossed on one of our stallions.  This is a very fancy LSR Forrest filly and the first time we have gotten a roan.  (Colour change paperwork and pictures have been sent to AQHA for colour correction when she is transferred to buyer)   LSR Forrest is our senior stallion and he passes his great mind, foot and bone to his foals.  This filly is no exception.  LSR Forrest has get competing in Pro Rodeo team roping, Three day Eventing, Reining, and all round family ranch horses.  The three daughters that I have retained are super broodmares and are a great cross on our Jr Stallion Jagger.  This filly has a quiet friendly nature and is built to do any job you can throw at her.  We are excited to see how she develops over the coming years. All of our Prospects will be eligible to be paid into the Legends of the Prairie Rope and Barrel Horse Futurity For More Info contact Donna at hm-204-529-2515 cell-204-245-0655 www.decossequarterhorses.com

Lot 148-Foxy French Lady

Check out this fancy Buckskin Filly.  She carries the blood of both Frenchman's Guy and Profit Increase.  She should be able to fly around a barrel or chase down a calf in the roping arena. The Peppy San Sun Frost babies have been doing well in the barrel pen from the CCA rodeos down to the local jackpots.  They have also excelled in the roping arena and are making great ranch and family mounts also.  Dash N Blair brings some speed to the program and we are excited to see how this cross does as they mature and are being shown  The first from this cross is 3 this year and her owner is very happy with her.  All of our Prospects will be eligible to be paid into the Legends of the Prairie Rope and Barrel Horse Futurity For More Info contact Donna at hm-204-529-2515 cell-204-245-0655 www.decossequarterhorses.com

Lot 146-DQH Guys TaylorTivio

2026 was the year of the Horse and apparently for us also the year of the Filly.  Of the 16 foals we have to offer we only have 3 colts on the ground.  None the less this colt is one we are proud to bring to town.  His dam is a DQH Mia Rooster Two aka Jagger daughter.  She has proven to be one of our best producers.  Jagger has been making a solid name for himself as the sire of well built good minded babies that do well in many directions.  He is a money earner himself before an injury at the trainers sent him to the breeding pasture. His sons and daughters have picked up the gauntlet and carried on in his name.  A son was the 2024 MHSRA horse of the year and he has other sons and daughters excelling in the team roping and breakaway roping all across Canada and the States.  This colts sire Peppy San Sun Frost aka Cooper has been producing great minded foals for us that have excelled in the barrel and roping pen across both the pro, semi pro and jackpot venues.  They also make  outstanding  ranch and family mounts. This colt is built right and has the proven genetics to be a future contender in any arena you send him to.  All of our Prospects will be eligible to be paid into the Legends of the Prairie Rope and Barrel Horse Futurity.  For More Info contact Donna at hm-204-529-2515 cell-204-245-0655 www.decossequarterhorses.com

Here's a big fancy buckskin colt with all the bone and foot you could want in that using gelding he will grow up to be.  His sire LSR Forrest has been our senior stallion for the past 19 years.  He has produced foals that have gone on to excel in the roping pen as well as reining.  They have proven to be that all round horse most people are looking for.  This colt goes back to Doc's Lynx and PC Bronsin on the bottom side which has crossed well on our LSR Forrest stallion over the years.  This colt should be an asset to any ranch or family program.  He will be able to drag a calf to the fire all day long and then go and play on the weekends.
